Barbecue Chicken - Poultry Recipe

Barbecue Chicken

Aggregate Time to Prepare: 30 Minutes
Yield: 6 Servings  
  • ½ cup Low-Carb Barbecue Sauce
  • ½ cup plus 2 tbsp. Water
  • 1 ½ tbsp. Arrowroot
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp minced Garlic
  • 6 Chicken Thighs
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste  
How to Cook:
  1. Switch your Instant Pot to “Sauté” mode.
  2. Heat the oil in it and sauté the onions for a few minutes.
  3. Put in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in the barbecue sauce and ½ cup of water.
  5. Put the thighs upside down.
  6. Cover and cook on HIGH for 10 minutes.
  7. Depressurize quickly.
  8. Move the chicken to a plate.
  9. Switch your Instant Pot to “Sauté” mode and bring to a boil.
  10.                     Mix the rest of the water and arrowroot and stir the mixture into the sauce.
  11.                     Cook until thickened.
  12.                     Put in the chicken and cook for an additional minute.
  13.                     Your dish is ready! Have fun!
