Fruity Protein Oats - Keto Vegan Recipes

Ready in under five minutes, these moreish oats are easy to prepare and ensure that you don’t skip breakfast! Adding the blended fruits gives this recipe a lift and finished off this dish perfectly.

INGREDIENTS
25g (1oz) Strawberries 25g (1oz) Raspberries 25g (1oz)  Blueberries 1 tbsp Water
50g (1 3/4oz) Porridge Oats 100ml (1/2cup) Oat Milk 100ml (1/2cup) Water
15g (1/2oz) Banana Vegan Protein Powder
(you can use other
flavours)
A Pinch of Salt
10g (1/4oz) Flaked Almonds
HOW TO COOK IT
Add the f irst 4 ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Once done put to one side.

Add the oats, oat milk and water into a saucepan and cook over a medium heat until the mixture thickens.

Remove from the heat and add the protein powder and salt, mix well. If the mixture becomes too thick, add a splash of oat milk or water.

Add to a bowl and pour the blended fruit mixture over the top and finish with a sprinkle of flaked almonds..
DIETICIAN’S NOTES
Containing a good quantity of  protein and slow release carbohydrates, this breakfast should keep you energised throughout the morning. Be sure to choose an oat milk fortified with calcium if you don’t consume any dairy.
